Moma Typegeist Takeaway:

This project was focused on creating a unique reading experience for the reader through type, graphic form, and composition. As I was designing, I knew I wanted to explore Postmodern design, along with ideas from Rosamtie Tissi, a Swiss Designer. Integrating type and image aided that exploration as I took photos of typography found in coffee shops, and created a cup out of form. The textual content used was from Micheal Rock’s, Typegeist article, exhibition details for the MOMA, and quotes. In the end, I had to choose the takeaway one would receive from the museum, and a poster accomplished that for this project.

This project was heavily focused on work in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Imagery found in local coffee shops around Charlotte, NC.
